Edlington Town Council are committed to improving the visual appearance of the village and are concerned at the increasing volume of eyesores that detract from this and are therefore planning to introduce a pilot scheme for the collection and disposal of bulky waste material found in and around Edlington, whether in residential streets or public open spaces, that require clearance and disposal at a DMBC Waste Collection & Recycling Centre. With this in mind, expressions of interest are sought from any interested party providing a quotation, no later than 30th April, 2022 based on the following contractual terms :-

• Any interested party must have a trade waste collection licence and produce evidence of this to the Town Council, together with details of their van/transport to be used to undertake such waste collections
• Provide a day rate price for collection and disposal of bulky waste items from locations as informed or directed by the Town Council across Edlington
• The scheme will be an initial pilot based on one day's collection per calendar month initially on a 3-month basis in late Spring/early Summer 2022 which may be extended and or the frequency of collections varied, based on the experience, scope and success of the initial pilot
