This years' Remembrance Sunday commemorations will include the usual parade starting from the Helping Hands Community Centre leaving at 10.10am, supported by the Sheffield Pipe Band and involving local Cadet groups. The Act of Remembrance service will be led by Fr Richard Hume at the Cenotaph garden commencing at 10.55am where we once again pay tribute to the Fallen. Deputy Lieutenant, Major Adrian Hunt will be in attendance representing His Majesty the King and will start the laying of wreath's followed by the Town Mayor and other groups/individuals.Post event refreshments for the Cadet's will be available at the Helping Hands community centre and in addition a programme of activities will be taking place in the Ex-Servicemen's Club after the event. All Members of the community are welcome and encouraged to attend.
