Re-dedication of the Memorial for Lancaster Bomber W4904
Throughout the Memorial Service and afterwards the people of Edlington and Edlington Town Council were thanked for their role in correcting the mistake made in 2012 and for donating the memorial stone which had originally stood in Edlington.

Re-dedication of the Memorial to Lancaster Bomber W4904
On Saturday23 September, the Deputy Mayor and the Clerk travelled to Moor Monkton for the re-dedication of the Memorial to the Canadian crew of Lancaster Bomber W4904.
It was a moving experience in which the Deputy Mayor and the Clerk met residents of Moor Monkton who remembered the plane crashing and also met members of the family in whose field the Lancaster had crashed in 1943.

A New Friday Bingo at the Grainger Centre
Helping Hands will be running a new Friday Bingo at the Grainger Centre from 6 pm - 8pm. The Bingo is open to children and refreshments are available.

The Town Council Returns to the Grainger Centre
At the end of July the decorators moved in to the Grainger Centre. This meant that throughout August, the Town Council could not meet at its normal base. Arrangements were made for Regular Users to continue using the Centre and the Town Council would like to publicly thank them for their understanding during the upheaval.
